Katie Sapper 

Katie is a San Diego native who graduated with a B.A. in Musical Theatre from Saint Mary's University of MN. While there, she was able to study in London as well as with the Gaeity School of Acting in Dublin. Katie won the Old Globe Honors and was a finalist in the 2010 Jimmy Awards.

 

Theatre credits include working at La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, San Diego Repertory, Lambs Players, Cygnet Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, MTW, SDMT, and Moonlight Stage Productions. Katie has been nominated for a San Diego Critic's Circle Award for her role of Gloria Thorpe in SDMT's production of Damn Yankees. She's trained with Cris O'Bryon, Tony James, Lord Dr. Gary Diomandes, Judy Myers, Patrick Sutton, and Nancy Snow Carr. 

 

As a Teaching Artist, Katie has worked with young artists throughout San Diego County in performing art schools and theatre programs like The Old Globe, North Coast Repertory Theatre, CCA, and COSA. Katie is a proud Associate Teacher with NC Studios. 

 

She and her husband Charlie enjoy learning about different cuisine and cooking techniques, surfing, and producing music with Bullpen Productions. They are proud parents to 2 beautiful daughters.
